KE Sports School Football Tournament (teachers & staff only)

General

• All players must be employed by the school in some capacity

• Players must be 18+

• 7 a side competition

• Max squad size - 12

• Teams must have a uniformed kit

• Game length - 16 minute straight. No half time

Rules of Football

• All teams and players must follow and adhere to the FIFA laws of the game

Tournament Format

The tournament will follow a 1 day playing schedule.

Groups stages will see 8 groups of 4 teams.

1st / 2nd will progress to cup/plate event

3rd/4th will progress to the bowl/spoon event

Knock out stages for every team will be:

• Last 16

• Quarter Final

• Semi Final

• Final

Saturday 16th May 2026

07:30 - Tournament Kick off

15:30 - Tournament concludes

18:00 onwards - Post event party

This event is a not for profit event.

Entry fees cover running costs

Entry fee - RM500 per team.

All players, coaches and spectators are expected to abide by the following rules

• Show respect for teammates, opponents, officials, and coaches

• Respect the integrity and judgment of officials

• Exhibit fair play, sportsmanship, and proper conduct at all times.

• Maintain a high level of safety awareness

• Refrain from the use of profanity, vulgarity, or other offensive behaviours

• Adhere to the established rules and standards of the game to be played

• Understand that this is a family event and conduct should reflect this environment

• Any violence or threat of violence will not be tolerated and will be handed over directly to local law enforcement

• Any negative behaviour deemed persistent, racist, violent or unsafe will result in tournament disqualification and removal from the premises
